Seattle activities, for the out-of-towners
Things to do in Seattle, courtesy of Jenni's mother:
There are greatparks and places to walk. Arboretum, University of Washington, Freemont neighbrhood.
The wineries are always fun. They are located about 30-40 minutes from downtown, North of Seattle.
Other ideas:
Folklife Festival is free, and celebrates the groups that inhabited the area with music, food, exhibits.
Some interesting local attractions.
Walking tours of the area.
The underground tour has a price, but is pretty interesting. A neat look into Seattle's past.

Hotel reservation info
If anyone is looking for a hotel room, there are a handful more available at the downtown Seattle Residence Inn (800 Fairview Ave. N, Seattle, WA 98109), reserved by Jenni's Aunt Marlene (whom we thank for reserving them). Interested parties should ask for a reservation under the block reserved by Marlene Kluczinske.

Apologies for this blog being quiet for so long; with the wedding getting sooner all the time, we'll be adding more information here more frequently. Thanks everyone, and we look forward to seeing you all in May!

Yes, the wedding is still in Seattle.
For those of you who don't yet know: I have accepted a position at Yahoo! Labs in Sunnyvale, CA, and Jenni and I will be moving to the Bay Area in October. However, the wedding remains at the Seattle Aquarium. We'll look forward to seeing our much-missed Seattle friends next May (and hopefully sooner as well - you'll all be visiting us, right?)
